A fallen, disempowered humanity searches for knowledge and the power that follows. It’s good to ask and to seek and to knock (Matthew 7:7-8). However, it isn’t good to help yourself to something without permission. This includes knowledge veiled from humanity. The world of the spirit and the world of the natural are but layers of the same creation. Just as music can be broadcast as invisible radio waves with different songs on different frequencies or channels, so too can spirits pass through flesh and walls and mountains without one interfering with another. Even so, it isn’t good for humans to search the wide spectrum of creation seeking information because this is offensive to God (1 Chronicles 10:13-14). Moreover, physical locks won’t keep out spiritual guests or intruders, so it’s best to remain under the covering of the one true God (John 20:19-20).
