Sharp parallels can be drawn between the events in the prior paragraph and the fates of nations.  The angels have their ordered life, and humans have their ordered life.  Sometimes fallen angels enter our life from theirs, especially when a door is left wide open by the complacency that comes with a rich life.  However, this always leads to evil things like corruption and bad morals (1 Corinthians 15:33).  A warning sign is the persecution of traditional values (2 Peter 2:10).  You know trouble is near when God is put behind a curtain and a world power seeks the spotlight.  Evil is behind this and needs to be constantly driven out of the Church, families, communities, societies, businesses, and governments (Ephesians 6:12).  It’s always trying to penetrate our lives, either through fast gains or slow ones when the memory of prior battles begins to fade.
