A great mystery occurred on Mount Hermon.  How could the earth witness the hybridization of fallen angels and humanity?  Jesus said that what is born of flesh is flesh and what is born of spirit is spirit (John 3:6).  Angels are spirits, and they don’t have reproductive organs.  However, they can influence.  The genetic code of created pairs includes instructions for the body to follow when in different environments.  Any unholy changes to this code or influence upon its expression can have disastrous consequences for both humans and the earth (Catechism of the Catholic Church, Second Edition, #339).  Sadly, the influence of the two hundred set humanity and the earth on this path.  Some of the women who were possessed by the two hundred bore sons who became “the heroes of old, the men of renown" (Genesis 6:4).  In a similar way, terrible giants would emerge at this time (The Book of Enoch 7:2-4) and later (2 Samuel 21:20).
